In Portugal, I took a degre in Languages, a Post-graduation in Translation and a Post-Graduation in Linguistics.
Then I worked in Spain for two years.
Later I took a degree in law.
My main specialization is the translation of legal contracts, legislation and other legal documents. I've been working for the Portuguese Ministry of Finance since November, 2000 as a tax technician, a linguist and translator, where my main task is to translate all OECD reports and models into Portuguese. Also, I'm in charge of the translation of the treaties that Portugal ratifies.
Besides that, as a freelance translator, my experience covers a wide scope of subjects, including websites, marketing materials, user manuals and software.
