I was born in Hong Kong, raised in New Zealand and had studied in Japan when I was young. This unique background gave me the advantage of being fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), English and Japanese.

Not only did I study in a multi-language environment, I have worked in multinational and international firms for years. Working in international Japanese manufacturing firms as well as financial firms means that translations are inevitable. My previous jobs, for example, required me to translate various documents, information, presentations, contracts and agreements accurately and efficiently. On top of that, interpretation was also a big part of my job description. My employers have always seen my language skills as a great asset to them and the companies.

✦ I attained the Japanese Proficiency Test Level 1 while I was on scholarship studying in Fukuoka, Japan. Also, I was awarded the New Zealand Association of Language Teachers Certificate of Excellence in 1999.

✧ Apart from Japanese, English is also a strong point of mine, which can be proved by a high-A attained in Bursary Exam in New Zealand.

✦ Chinese is my mother tongue and I am fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
