PRESENTATION

After graduating with honors in Foreign Languages at the University of Bologna, I started to work for a number of Italian vocational training agencies as a coordinator, translator and interpreter. I was soon involved in the management of several EU-funded projects, which enabled me to travel a lot across Europe and acquire in-depth knowledge on topics like EU affairs and public funding in general, training and education, the voluntary sector, government and politics, business organization, staff management, event organization etc. But, most importantly, I had to meet the challenges and taking all responsibilities of a dynamic and innovative environment which made me professionally grow up.

After a few years, I decided to exploit my skills and expertise for a career progression as a translator, so in 2006 I decided to leave my job to become totally self-employed. Now I work as a full-time freelancer translator and teacher.

In 2008, given my deep love for music, I also founded a small indie label, which I manage with other musicians, to give our contribution in terms of discs, books and concerts to the jazz music scene. This is our website: www.ediechoes.com

I play, too: the classical piano and the baroque recorder. I have been in music all my life!!
