Carefully read the following important information regarding installation safety and maintenance. Keep this information booklet accessible for further consultations. The appliance has been designed for use in the ducting version (air exhaust to the outside – Fig.1B), filtering version (air circulation on the inside – Fig.1A) or with external motor (Fig.1C).
SAFETY PRECAUTION
1. Take care when the cooker hood is operating simultaneously with an open fireplace or burner that depend on the air in the environment and are supplied by other than electrical energy, as the cooker hood removes the air from the environment which a burner or fireplace need for combustion. The negative pressure in the environment must not exceed 4Pa (4x10-5 bar). Provide adequate ventilation in the environment for a safe operation of the cooker hood. Follow the local laws applicable for external air evacuation.
Before connecting the model to the electricity network:
- control the data plate (positioned inside the appliance) to ascertain that the voltage and power correspond to the network and the socket is suitable. If in doubt ask a qualified electrician.
2. WARNING!
In certain circumstances electrical appliances may be a danger hazard.
A) Do not check the status of the filters while the cooker hood is operating
B) Do not touch bulbs or adjacent areas, during or straight after prolonged use of the lighting installation.
C) Flambe cooking is prohibited underneath the cooker hood
D) Avoid free flame, as it is damaging for the filters and a fire hazard
E) Constantly check food frying to avoid that the overheated oil may become a fire hazard
F) Disconnect the electrical plug prior to any maintenance.
G) This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision
H) Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance

INFORMACJE OGÓLNE
Proszę uważnie zapoznać się z zamieszczonymi poniżej istotnymi informacjami w celu wykonania bezpiecznej instalacji oraz konserwacji okapu. Proszę zachować niniejszą broszurę na wypadek ponownego jej użycia.
Okap został zaprojektowany do instalacji w wersji kominowej (wymaga zainstalowania przewodu odprowadzającego powietrze na zewnątrz – Rys. 1B). Po zainstalowaniu filtra z węglem aktywnym, okap może pracować jako pochłaniacz zapachów (krążenie powietrza wewnątrz – Rys. 1A) lub zostać użyty do instalacji z wykorzystaniem silnika na zewnątrz (Rys. 1C).
BEZPIECZEŃSTWO UŻYTKOWANIA
1. Zaleca się szczególną ostrożność podczas jednoczesnego korzystania z okapu i otwartego kominka lub palnika, które czerpią powietrze z otoczenia i nie są zasilane energią elektryczną, ponieważ okap usuwa powietrze niezbędne do spalania przez kominek lub palnik. Podciśnienie powietrza nie może przewyższyć 4Pa (4x10-5 barów; 0,004 milibara). Należy zapewnić odpowiednią wentylację otoczenia w celu bezpiecznego działania okapu kuchennego. Należy dostosować się do lokalnych przepisów odnośnie usuwania oparów na zewnątrz budynków.
Przed podłączeniem modelu do sieci elektrycznej:
- należy skontrolować tabliczkę znamionową (umiejscowioną wewnątrz okapu) w celu stwierdzenia czy napięcie i moc oraz gniazdo sieciowe odpowiadają parametrom danej sieci. W razie jakichkolwiek wątpliwości należy skontaktować się z wykwalifikowanym elektrykiem.
2. UWAGA!
W niektórych sytuacjach urządzania elektryczne mogą zagrażać bezpieczeństwu:
A) Nie należy sprawdzać stanu filtrów podczas pracy okapu.
B) Nie należy dotykać żarówek ani obszaru wokół nich zarówno podczas jak i bezpośrednio po dłuższym korzystaniu z oświetlenia.
C) Gotowanie na otwartym ogniu pod okapem jest zabronione.
D) Należy unikać otwartego ognia ponieważ uszkadza on filtry i stanowi zagrożenie pożarowe.
E) Potrawy przygotowywane na tłuszczach powinny być stale nadzorowane, gdyż przegrzany tłuszcz może się łatwo zapalić.
F) Przed każdą operacją czyszczenia, wymiany filtrów lub przed podjęciem innych prac naprawczych, należy wyjąć wtyczkę urządzenia z gniazdka elektrycznego.
G) Dzieciom oraz osobom niepełnosprawnym pozostawionym bez nadzoru zabrania się korzystania z okapu.
H) Dzieci korzystające z okapu winny pozostawać pod nadzorem osób dorosłych w celu wyeliminowania zabawy urządzeniem.
