Die Ausgangspunkte aller erkannten Gaps liegen dabei in den Planungspro- zessen des (...). Ohne eine eindeutige Definition von Rollen und Ver- antwortlichkeiten im Gesamtprojekt, kann keine containerspezifische Planung erstellt werden. Ohne Rollen und Verantwortlichkeiten ist es nur schwer möglich, eine geeignete Work Breakdown Structure für Gesamtprojekt und Container zu erstellen. Diese beiden Lücken müssen dringend geschlossen wer- den, um die neue Organisationsstruktur des (...) nachhaltig zu etablieren. Fehlende oder unvollständige Dokumente in einer uneindeutigen Ablagestruktur (Projektakte, Projektportal und ...) führen zu Kommunikationslücken und Zeitverlust bei der Suche nach wichtigen Informationen.
Es wurde gezeigt, dass eine Trennung zwischen Projekt- und Testmanage- ment in komplexen Softwaretestprojekten nur dann er- folgreich gelebt werden kann, wenn eine 1:1 Beziehung besteht, die Informations- und Kommunikationsfluss zwischen den beiden Managementbereichen sicherstellt.
Um die Controlling Prozesse des (...) zu optimieren ist die Besetzung der Rolle des Leads Reporting die wichtigste Voraussetzung.
Zur Optimierung der Prozesse in den Knowledge Areas Human Resource Management und Communication Management wurde die Etablierung zweier neuer Rollen – Communication und HR-Manager – wurde vorgeschlagen. Die Voraussetzung für eine erfolgreiche Arbeit dieser beiden Manager ist wiede- rum eine Einbindung in die operativen Einheiten des Projekt- und Testmana- gements.
Zusammenfassend ist festzustellen, dass unter Berücksichtigung nicht nur der fachlichen und sondern auch der personellen Ressourcen, Rollen und Ver- antwortlichkeiten in einem ersten Schritt festgelegt werden müssen. Informati- on, Kommunikation und Dokumentation müssen in einem zweiten Schritt auf Organisation sowie Rollen und Verantwortlichkeiten angepasst werden. Both gaps need to be addressed immediately, in order to effectively implement the new organisational structure of (...). Incomplete or missing documents in an ambiguous filing (project file, project platform and ...) lead to gaps in communication and loss of time in the search of important information.
This (...) has shown that a disjunction of project and test management in complex software testing projects can only succeed if a 1:1 relation is established that ensures the optimal flow of information and communication between these two fields of managements.
In order to optimise the Controlling Processes of (...) the manning of the role of a Lead Reporting is the most important precondition. As for the Knowledge Areas Human Resource Management and Communications Management, the introduction of two new roles – Communication and HR Manager – was suggested. The precondition for their work however is their close integration in the operative units of the project and test management.
In conclusion it can be stated that taking into account not only the functional but also the human resources, roles and responsibilities need to be defined in a first step. Information, communication and documentation must be adapted to the organisation, roles and responsibilities in a second step. An optimised usage of the tools already in place can support this. Hereby scope and quality of the (...) testing can lastingly be ensured.
