Translator from English-Norwegian/Norwegian-English and Spanish- Norwegian- Norwegian Spanish, mainly IT and software manuals, as well as a broad range of marketing material and web sites targeted towards end consumers/users. I work frequently with prestigious clients such as Apple, Microsoft, Dell, Symantec and Expedia on ongoing projects, both as translator and proof reader/editor. I use both Transit and Trados 2009.

Project Manager (Contractor)
Responsible for managing the localization of 3 computer games products from planning through to delivery. Create and track localization plan for assigned titles, getting buy in from all stakeholders, prepare and present localization budgets, risk analysis for assigned projects in a proactive and pre-emptive manner. Communicate clearly any risks, which could impact the deliverybudgetquality of the product. Put corrective measures in place where needed. Communicate with Activision’s US based production, development and QA teams. Manage and co-ordinate the quality assurance process for localized versions of products. Manage the age rating process, code submission and approval process with third party developers. Liaise with external localization agencies and translators.
