At university I read Latin American Literature. My specialist field is literary translation including fiction; literature, drama, poetry, subtitles and scripts for video and film. I also work on non-fiction; magazine articles, websites, business, publicity.
I have a first class honours degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies combined with English from North London University. I divide my time between London and Spain and have been working as a freelance translator since 1999. I was recently commissioned to translate 'Teorema Abierto' a collection of philosophical essays by Manuel Olivares. I have also translated business material, documents, letters, technical papers and website publicity and promotion for various businesses including Royal Pianos, Homeworkers, la Cueva de Retama, a dancing school and Mano Grande, a recording studio. I am currently working on a large website project for tarot.com |
