Educated in the US as a Registered Nurse (Bachelor of Science degree) and Nurse Practitioner (Master of Science degree; work is similar to that of a Medical General Practitioner), I have over ten years experience working in the medical field. I also taught as a professor for one year (2004-2005) at the St Louis University campus in Madrid, Spain. The specific courses taught were pathophysiology and physical assessment skills. I came to France 12 years ago and have since worked in the field of translation. I provide translation and editing in the specialty areas of medicine, pharmacology, biology and life sciences. These cover a wide variety of texts, including clinical research articles, pharmacological reports and medicinal and biological product evaluations, websites, and scientific investigator brochures.

The strengths that I offer in my translations are my personal clinical and research experience in the medical field as well as my bi-cultural perspective. My husband is also a professor of medicine in Paris and so serves as an important reference for me in my medical work.

My work is of publishable quality, with clinical research articles having appeared in several medical journals including Gastroenterology, The Lancet and Hepatology. I have translated a Consensus Conference report for the Agence Nationale d'Accreditation et d'Evaluation en Sante, as well as numerous pharmaceutical studies.
