Native speaker of French and Dutch (Flemish) with near-native proficiency in English.

Educated to an MA degree in Oriental Philology (Gent University) and Post Graduate degree in French writing (University of Geneva). Specialized in technical and legal translations but would be happy to change field.

I worked in Japan as language teacher and freelance translator. I established my own translation office in Switzerland and later I joined a law firm as an Office Manager/Translator. Today I work at the International Electrotechnical Commission as an Editor (English and French).

I am unavailable for freelance work, but would be happy to receive a short email from potential clients/employers to update my data base or consider serious offers.
