I started my career as technical translator in 1983 when I was still studying at Helsinki University of Technology. Since my M.Sc (mech.eng) graduation in 1985, I have been a full-time translator. I have lived and worked in Finland, Germany, and in the U.S. Currently, I run translation business and have residence both in Finland and the U.S. so you can deal either with a European or an American company.

I specialize in mechanical engineering, automotives and trucks, machine tools, manufacturing technology, computers, hardware and software, information technology, and telecommunications. I have also experience of various machines and devices, printing technology, injection-moulding, measuring instruments, material technology, videos, multimedia, games, appliances, audiovisual, and household devices, etc.

The specialities of my spouse, whom I run the translation business with, include medical instruments, telecommunications, electronics, marketing, sales, business management, and accounting.
