I have 13 years of experience in translation in many varied fields, including legal, medical, commercial, tourism, technical, marketing, manufacturing, operating manuals, safety audit reports. I am a published translator of books on personal growth, snowboarding magazine and the Horrible Science brand.

I hold the Diploma in Translation with Distinction in all three papers, and I am an examiner/evaluator of translation exams and assesments from English into Czech on many levels.

I have 13 years of interpreting experience in commercial and public service environments, and 6 years of experience in conference interpreting. In business interpreting I have worked on assignments raging from small business meetings to large groups of visitors to factories in the UK, to a visit of Minister of Agriculture to the UK. My public service interpreting is mostly in the legal environment in all areas of Criminal Justice System, and due to my experience with the most serious types of cases and investigations, I am a preferred interpreter to many of these bodies in my geographical area. I also regularly work with the HSE.

My conference interpreting experience includes clinical trials, pharmaceutical sales conferences, product launches, European Works Councils, Education, Law, Multinational Cooperation Groups, etc.

I hold the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting in law and health, in both cases with distinction in all 3 aspects. I have attended a number of courses in conference interpreting.

I have also attended a course in subtitling.
