Ottoman Empire Era is the period between 13th and 19th centuries, under the government of Padishah (Monarch) system. Different ethnical groups living together reflected the developing cultural harmony in the best way on their houses. Harmony of the whole is really striking. Turks continued the tradition of wooden houses, Greeks and Armenians continued the kagir building technique. City has claimed a common architectural identity. Residences differing in the details are similar in properties like floor heights, facade characteristics, dimensions etc. For instance families with high income have much more ornaments in their residences. Uygulama Yüzeyinin Hazırlanması :
Kaplanacak zeminin beklenen yükleri taşıyacak güçte olması gerekir, (beton sınıfı en azından B 25 olmalıdır). Zeminin uygunluğu bağlama-çekme kuvveti testleriyle saptanabilir.
Beton, doğal taş ve çeliğe yapışkanlık çok iyi decededir. Kaplanacak yüzeylerin kuru (beton nemi < % 4), temiz, tozsuz, üzerine sürülen malzemeyi tutacak yapıda, hafif pürüzlü olması, ayrıca her türlü yağ, macun, boya artıkları vb. maddelerden arınmış olması gerekir. Uygulama yapılacak yüzeylerin temizlenmesinde freze, kumlama, taşlama veya yakma yöntemlerinden faydalanılır. Çelik yüzeylerin norm temizlik derecesi SA 2,5 e uymaları gerekir.

Astarlama
MARBOPOX Top ile kaplanacak zeminler, yukarıda belirtildiği şekilde temizlenip, MARBOPOX Grund GM 3 ile astarlanır. MARBOPOX Grund GM 3 kullanıldığında astarın kuruması beklenmez, bilakis astar yapışkanlığını kaybetmeden üzerine kaplama malzemesi tatbik edilir. Buna imkan yok ise, yani kaplama malzemesinin tatbiki gecikecek ise, astar kurumadan üzerine temiz, ateşte kurutulmuş kuvarz kumu yeterli miktarda serpilir ve kuruması beklenir. Kumlu astar tamamen kuruduktan sonra kumun fazlası iyice temizlenir, (yüzeyde astara yapışmış kumlardan fazlası kalmayacak şekilde) aksi halde kaplama tabakası astara tam yapışmayabilir. Astarlanmış yüzeyin her türlü kirden uzak tutulmasına dikkat edilir.

Preparation of Application Surface:
Floor to be coated should be strong enough to bear the expected weight. (Concrete class should be at least B-25) Floor convenience could be checked with tying-tensile force tests.
Binding to concrete, natural stone and steel is of high level. Application surfaces should be dry (concrete moisture < % 4), clean, dust-free, should be able to hold the applied coating, slightly rough, and also free from all kinds of oil, paste and paint waste etc. For the cleaning of the application surfaces, methods of fraise, sanding, grinding or burning methods could be used. Steel surfaces should be clean enough to conform to SA 2,5.

Priming
Floors to be coated with MARBOPOX Top should be cleaned as mentioned above and primed with MARBOPOX Grund GM 3. When MARBOPOX GM 3 is used, you need not wait for the primer to dry. On the contrary, coating material should be applied before the primer loses its adhesive property. If this is not possible and application of coating material won’t be immediately, fire-dried quartz sand should be sprinkled while the primer is still wet and wait for drying. Once the sandy primer is completely dry, excess sand should be cleaned completely. (No sands other than those stuck to the primer should be left on the surface) If not, coating layer may not bind to the primer completely. Primed surface should be free from all kinds of dirt.

TEMPERATURE SELECTION
The temperature knob lets you select a temperature between approximately 30°C and 85°C.
Turn the temperature knob clockwise only, until the stop that indicates the maximum setting, and then counterclockwise.
Do not force it beyond the stop, otherwise the thermostat will be damaged.
The temperature scale does not show absolute temperatures in °C, but rather symbols that represent the best temperature for respective groups of dishes:
-(cup) approx. 40°C for cups or glasses.
When contained in glasses which are previously heated to this temperature, hot beverages do not cool so rapidly and the container can nonetheless be touched without any problem.
-(plates) approx. 60°C for dishes.
Foods placed in these dishes will stay warm longer. Depending on personal sensitivity, the containers can be touched without any danger. Use mitts or pot holders as necessary.
-MAX approx. 85°C for dishes.
The thermostat is set to the maximum temperature.
