Since I am still a full-time teacher, I am mostly interested in shorter projects (pamphlets, letters, etc.) Depending on the time frame of the project I would also be willing to work translating children's literature.
My background is in Bilingual Education. As such, the majority of my written translation experience has been short, 1-2 page letters and memos going out to parents. I have also at times had to translate English language picture books into Spanish for personal use in my classroom. I have also done oral translations in the school setting (to facilitate parent-teacher conferences and public meeting between administrators and parents).
On occasion I have done a few translations as a freelancer on the side. Most of these have been medical or real estate related. They have all been short documents (less than 20 pages) or oral translations.
