Voices and Visions from Western Sahara

The struggle of the Saharawi people of Western Sahara for self-determination is a cause that goes largely unnoticed by the rest of world. XXXX seeks to raise awareness and support for their plight through arts and educational activities. An important component of our work is to build links between Saharawi artists and other artists worldwide. Our launchpad is the 2007 XXXX Festival, scheduled for the beginning of May.

As well as information on Western Sahara and XXXX's activities, this website aims to provide an interactive network connecting Saharawi artists to an international community of supporters in the creative field. The gallery pages of this site showcase photography, painting, music, dance, poetry and film by Saharawi artists, and artists around the world who have documented, or been inspired by, the Saharawi people, culture, or their plight.

La lucha del pueblo saharaui del Sáhara Occidental por la autodeterminación es una causa que pasa ampliamente desapercibida por el resto del mundo. Children's Literature, Literary Translation, marketing and related areas.

A native Spanish Speaker, positive, enthusiastic and very committed to my work.
I have spent the last eight years living and working in the UK, which has ensured a perfect comprehension of the source language.

Degree qualified in Languages (English Philology), at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Due to my studies at the University, most of my life as a student has developed reading Literature and doing translations. Since I finished my studies, I have been working sporadically as a freelance translator while having a regular job, becoming full-time freelance translator from April 2004.

I enjoy my work as a freelance, but I would also be interested in working as part of a team in an in-house position.

My translations are usually done in Microsoft Word, and are then e-mailed or sent by post to the customer.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
