Annette can translate German to English and English to German. She specializes in childrens' literature and the arts. She is highly creative and linguistically nimble.
In November 2005 Annette proofread the German subtitles for two training DVDs on interview techniques, translated for Austrian psychologists .
Annette was born and raised bilingually in Germany (Canadian mother) and has lived in North America since 1983. She has worked occasionally as a language teacher and translator besides her primary profession as a dance educator. She now lives in burlington, Vermont, U.S.A.
She has homeschooled her three children since 1990, translated numerous German childrens' books for them and taught them German.
Most recently Annette has worked as a subcontractor for Alison James (translator of the "Regenbogenfisch" series) and as a German language advisor for Marc Estrin (author of "Insect Dreams").
