De nombreuses organisations d'habitants, de locataires, de sans-abri, des autorités locales agissantes et solidaires, et des personnalités engagés, chacun avec son identité, ses formes et contenus d’actions soutiennent concrètement le droit au logement.
Dans une période de réorganisation des structures institutionnelles européennes, d'importantes initiatives de lutte pour ce droit parcourent plusieurs pays de l'Union Européenne et plus largement du continent. Soulignons les mobilisations contre la spéculation immobilière et le manque de logement, contre les expulsions ou en faveur des sans-abri, l’émergence de notions telles que droit opposable au logement ou création de services publics du logement.

Cette initiative naît des deuxièmes états généraux français pour la création d’un service public national et décentralisé où se sont exprimés le besoin et la demande d’un regard européen sur les questions du logement. Quelle est la forme de l’intervention publique ? Comment se structure l’action des différents participants aux questions du logement dans les pays européens ? Quelle est la situation du droit au logement ? Comment s’exprime le mouvement social ?

Il diritto alla casa viene difeso attivamente da numerose associazioni degli abitanti, degli inquilini e dei senzatetto, dalle autorità locali più attive e solidali, e da personalità impegnate, ognuna secondo l'identità, le forme e i contenuti che le sono propri.
In un'epoca come la nostra, che vede la riorganizzazione delle istituzioni dell'Unione Europea, si registrano in diversi paesi dell'Unione e nell'intero continente europeo iniziative importanti per la difesa del diritto alla casa. In questa sede desideriamo attirare la Sua attenzione sulle mobilitazioni contro la speculazione immobiliare, la carenza abitativa e gli sfratti, sulle mobilitazioni in favore dei senzatetto e sull'emergenza di concetti nuovi quali il diritto "difendibile" alla casa o la creazione di un servizio pubblico dell'alloggio.

L'iniziativa nasce durante i lavori della seconda edizione degli Stati Generali Francesi per la Creazione di un Servizio Pubblico Nazionale e Decentralizzato, nel corso dei quali è stata espressa la necessità di un'ottica europea in materia abitativa. Che forma assume l'intervento pubblico? Come si delinea l'azione dei diversi partecipanti in materia abitativa nei diversi paesi europei? A che punto è il diritto alla casa? Come si esprime il movimento sociale?

EDUCATION
I have graduated from the University of Trieste (Italy) - Faculty of modern languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLMIT) - with excellent marks (110/110) in July 2005 and have been working as a translator ever since.

SPECIALIZATION
Since the beginning of my career as a translator, I have translated texts in many different fields. Nevertheless, with time, I have specialized in the following fields: TOURISM, BOTANY, FOOD & COOKING, ART, LITERATURE and ARCHITECTURE. I am acquiring a great deal of experience in the translation of TECHNICAL texts, too, and I am currently specializing in this field (through more work and self-study).
Next to the above mentioned fields, I enjoy working in many others. Curious by nature and equipped with a solid general knowledge and very good research skills, I love to learn something new everyday.
Over the past three years I have also done pro-bono translations for the International Alliance of Inhabitants (www.habitants.org), a no-profit organization defending the right to adequate housing. Thanks to this experience, I have been able to gain precious knowledge in the HUMAN RIGHTS field. I also proofread other volunteers' translations for IAI on a regular basis.
