I am a linguist-translator-educator, a self-diagnosed word-nerd, and I'm fascinated with languages, dictionaries, etymology and sociolinguistics. Language is the most unique and fascinating trait of being a human. Everything we are, everything we think, everything we do, and everything we aspire to involves language.

I have studied several languages, and have communicative abilities of various degrees in six of them: Finnish, English, Swedish, Russian, German, and Spanish.

I have an affinity toward the Polynesian languages (Hawaiian, Samoan, Tongan, Tahitian, and Fijian) and, although it is unlikely that there will be a commercial need for them, we are adding a capacity of working with them into our repertoire.
