About me

BSc Hons in Social Sciences in the UK and University Degree in Translation in Italy (Italian, English and French).

I was born in Italy and then spent some of my formative years in the UK, where I studied Social Sciences. Worked as a professional translator in Bordeaux (France), cooperating with the organisers of some major wine-making and script writing events (Vinexpo, Equinoxe).
After working as a translator and EFL trainer around the world, I returned to Italy, where I am currently based.
I work daily to keep up my bilingual skills through constant study. I thoroughly enjoy intellectual challenges, especially in my areas of specialisation.

I have specialised in translating academic works in the fields of Social and Political Sciences.

Published works include:
"Italian Politics 02; the second Berlusconi government", 2003, published by Berghahn Books (Italian to English)
"Wines and Cheese of France", 1998, published by Gremese Editore (French to English).

Also available for consecutive and whispering interpreting (chuchotage).

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
