La actual autocensura que el buscador de Google impone sobre las búsquedas realizadas desde China se establece sobre las peticiones a los servidores 'google.com', 'google.cn', etc.

Por ejemplo, en Mail2Google disponen desde hace algún tiempo de una cuenta de correo ('google@ohardt.com') que es revisada cada 15 minutos por un script que devuelve a la persona que ha enviado el email una respuesta con los resultados de la búsqueda que inserta en el Asunto del mensaje.
Por supuesto, estas herramientas son útiles para otro tipo de situaciones en las que no podemos tener acceso directo al servidor web de Google, como por ejemplo conexiones sin permisos de conexión web.

How to avoid the Internet’s Great Wall of China
The current self censorship that Google search engine is imposing over the searches made from China appeals to the petitions to 'google.com', 'google.cn' and other servers.
Nonetheless, it is still possible to access other Web pages which ‘talk’ with the people, on the one hand, and Google serves, on the other, through their request API. This way, at least until the Chinese government bans the access to these pages, people can search in Google servers without entering them.
For instance, a few years ago we created this Web search engine from these APIs to carry out searches via the Web. It is also possible to create other applications (not necessarily “web”) to ‘talk’ with Google servers. An example is Mail2Google; they have had an Email account ('google@ohardt.com') for quite a while now; it is checked every 15 minutes by a script that sends an Email back to the sender with the results of the search specified in the topic of the message.
These tools can also be used when we can’t access Google Web server directly, for example, if we don't have a Web connection.
