About me
As I was born in Switzerland, I got used as a child to learn foreign languages (German and Italian). As a teenager, I lived in Thailand during a year and studied Thai language. This experience initiated a deep passion for Asian countries as well as for Asian languages. For this reason, I chose to enter Chinese Studies at University and went many times to PRC and Taiwan during my studies. After my Master degree, I received a scholarship to study at the Peking University. I then decided to settle down in Beijing where I lived during two years.
I have always had a deep interest for translation and started translating texts as soon as I could master Chinese language. During my studies, I translated short novels and essays about Fine Arts and Cinema and I recently started to get familiar with various other subject matters as well.
English and Italian are two languages with which I am also working with.
