Source text - English George Simon Ohm was the first scientist to articulate a mathematical relationship between voltage and current, famously known as Ohm’s law. Ohm’s law states, “At a constant temperature, the current I flowing through the conductor is proportional to the applied voltage or potential difference V across it.”
The potential difference between two points in an electric field or circuit is the difference in the two values of the electrical potentials at these two points. In other words, it is the work done in moving unit charge from one point to the other.
