My main specialisation is nuclear energy, including reprocessing and transport with extensive experience in the translation of related contracts, specifications, patents and licences. I also translate a variety of subject matter for various translation agencies in England and France, covering tourism, retailing, gastronomy, advertising, etc. I obtained a degree in translation and interpreting from Salford University before starting my career as in-house translator for the UK's largest nuclear fuel company and have been freelance since 1985. My two main language pairs are French to English and Italian to English, but I also translate from Spanish.
