BA in English arts and education from Al-Azhar University, which is considered to be the first and the best university that is focused on Arabic and Islamic studies, what had helped me to have an excellent command of Arabic language.

More than four years as a full-time freelancer English <> Arabic translator and desktop publisher. Throughout this period, I have been providing translation for reputable companies and agencies inside and outside Egypt in various fields.

Also worked a full-time in-house translator for a well-known company in the field of agriculture and veterinary. Translated many contracts, distribution agreements, documents, brochures, fliers, and leaflets of many products, which helped me to gain extra experience in translation especially when it comes to legal and veterinary documents.

More than that, I did lots of voluntary work for some well-known nonprofit organizations in Egypt and Arab countries and lately for World Health Organization “WHO” as a co-translator in its book “EMRO PARTNER IN HEALTH, 1949 - 1989” in which I was chosen as one of the best five translators worked on the book.

Although my university study was focused on linguistics, pedagogy and English arts, I have managed to acquire a great experience specially in veterinary and agriculture, law, IT and business.

I love learning everything new in computer and graphic designing industry. I almost spend all my spare time reading about new things and learning new applications.

I’m a professional user of the following:

• Trados, WordFast;


• Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, GoLive, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash;


• Autodesk CorelDraw, AutoCad, 3d Studio Max, Chaos V-Ray (3d render engine).

Beside being a translator, I also do lots of graphic and website designing and 3d architectural visualization using 3d Studio Max and V-Ray and modeling many products for advertising firms.
