Given that various species of Tuna that are being targeted by RTTP are found within a large area in the Indian Ocean, any tagging programme must encompass as large an area as possible where this fish go. Countries found in the tropics of the Indian Ocean are cooperating to ensure that this programme, which is vital to preserving Tuna and the fishing of Tuna of every country is successful by allowing the project Ships to catch Tuna and small bait(This are used to attract the Tuna) in their territorial waters and facilitating their Scientist and Researchers to be involved in this work.
During the period that this programme of tagging Tuna will be going on, a lot of fish will be caught and released back into the water alive after a small plastic tag has been attached to their bodies. The Tuna will be tagged just behind the second dorsal fin. Every tag will be 15 cm long with a unique identification number that will identify the fish and details of communicating with IOTC.
Reward for returning the tag: If you get a Tuna tag write the number, length, date and place of catch. If you report the Tuna catch to get your prize, please bring the whole Tuna to your Co-ordinator or District Officer. The tags are in three colours; green,white or yellow(orange), BEWARE if you see an orange(yellow)tag it has an electric tag in the Tuna's stomach, do not touch. There will be a reward for every tag returned and a special prize for every yellow/orange tag. | Translation - Swahili

Nchi za Eneo ya Jua ya Pwani la Bahari la Hindi zina husiana kuona huyu mpango ambayo ni muhimu sana wa kuifadhi Jodari za Bahari la Hindi na uvuvi wa Jodari wa kila nchi umefanikiwa kwa kuruhusu meli za mradi kushika Jodari na kuvua samaki dogo(hizi zinatumiwa kuvutia Jodari) ndani la viziwa vya maji yao na kuwezesha wanasayansi na watalaam wao kuhusika na hii kazi.

It is therefore extremely important to adequately protect electrical plant against overload, to handle high short-circuit currents and to selectively isolate the affected section of the power system in case of a fault.
