For the past fourteen years I have been involved in the business of language acquisition and translation. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Graduate Degree in Teaching Methods from the Faculdade de Ciências e Letras de Araras (now UNAR). Over the past several years I have done translation work for lawyers, multinational companies, dentists and other business, science and health professionals. I have lived for almost 27 years in Brazil and I also lived in the United States for 13 years, off and on. I am a dual citizen of both the U.S. and Brazil and am a native speaker of both languages.
Besides text translations, I have also done some simultaneous interpretation (translating), including a job I did once for Fundação Vanzolini of the University of São Paulo Engineering College, as well as a lot of consecutive interpretation in several different kinds of settings: business meetings, church services, conferences etc. | Keywords: Experienced bilingual translator and interpreter
