About me

Being educated in a bi-cultural (German-Costa Rican) environment for over 12 years, I posses the skills to fully comprehend and transmit the different nuances a literary text can have in both German and Spanish, which enables me to maintain the sentiment intended by the author when translating his text.
In addition, I am completely familiar with the jargon employed in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in those two languages, which enables me to perform an efficient and satisfying translation in these fields.
Furthermore, I have completed studies in the English language, certified by the University of Cambridge, which enable me to understand various documents containing complex arguments and ideas, thus accounting for translation skills from and into English.
Being a medical student, I also am familiar with the medical jargon in the three languages mentioned. Therefore, I am capable of accurately translating medical texts, while also understanding their contents.

I have worked for TICA (The International Cat Association) as a translator of their political texts, as well as for the Anatomy Department of the University of Costa Rica and the regional (Central American) magazine "Pets&más".
