My educational and professional backgrounds have given me a great deal of expertise in the fields of journalism, sports and betting, and international politics.

Graduated with honours as a translator Dutch/English/German at the Erasmushogeschool Brussels. Took up an exchange programme in translation studies at the Karl-Ruprechts-University Heidelberg. Obtained an additional degree in International Politics, International Law and International Relations at the UIA University Antwerp.

Taken additional Swedish and Spanish courses.

Born and raised in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. Lived in Germany (Heidelberg) for 6 months (as an exchange student), in Ireland (Dublin) for 5 months, in Spain (Andalucia) for 5 years, and in Denmark (Århus) for one year.

Currently living in Switzerland (Basel) since 2009.
