Padrões Espaciais na Epidemiologia da Pinta Preta dos Citros
Resumo
Existem duas formas de reprodução do patógeno causador da pinta preta dos citros que definem padrões espaciais na epidemia da doença. Conjectura-se que a primeira forma, os ascósporos, esporo da fase sexual do patógeno, geram um padrão espacial aleatório pois, a disseminação da estrutura reprodutiva ocorre pelo vento. Já os picnidiósporos, relacionados à fase assexual tenderiam a gerar padrão espacial estruturado pois, a forma de disseminação dá-se por escorrimento da água da chuva ou irrigação e a contaminação de uma árvore para outra ocorre pelo contato com esta água. Este trabalho teve por objetivo aplicar ferramentas estatísticas tais como a função loess, semivariogramas e função K de Ripley para investigação e compreensão dos padrões espaciais, posteriormente modelá-los incorporando efeitos aleatórios com estrutura espacial com prioris de campos aleatórios Markovianos e efeitos aleatórios sem estrutura espacial. Os métodos usados identificaram padrão espacial sugerindo que os picnidiósporos devem ter importância epidemiológica na incidência da doença nas plantas. A modelagem proposta permitiu avaliar hipóteses sobre os mecanismos predominantes de reprodução do patógeno. O modelo ajustado apresentou forte contribuição do efeito aleatório com estrutura espacial no risco de ocorrer a doença nas plantas de laranja, enquanto que para o risco nos frutos, o efeito aleatório de heterogeneidade não estruturada foi predominante.

Spatial Patterns in the Epidemiology of Black Spot on Citrus Trees
Summary
There are two reproductive forms of the pathogen causing black spot on citrus trees that determine spatial patterns in the epidemic of the disease. It is hypothesised that the first form, ascospores (spore of the sexual phase of the pathogen), produces a random spatial pattern since dispersal of the reproductive structure occurs by air movement. Pycnidiospores (connected with the asexual phase), on the other hand, would tend to produce a structured spatial pattern since dispersal happens by water movement such as rain or irrigation, and contamination between trees occurs through contact with this water. The aim of this research is to employ statistical tools such as the loess function, semivariograms and the K de Ripley function for investigating and understanding these spatial patterns, and subsequently to create a model of spatial patterns combining random effects with spatial structure by means of a priori Markov random fields and random effects with no spatial structure. By means of these methods, a spatial pattern was identified, suggesting that the pycnidiospores have epidemiological significance in the incidence of the disease on plants. The proposed model allowed for the evaluation of hypotheses on the predominant reproduction mechanisms of the pathogen. The adjusted model indicated a significant contribution of the random effect with spatial structure to the risk of the disease occurring on orange trees, whereas the random effect with non-structured heterogeneity was predominant in the risk to the fruit.

2. Payment obligations of the lessee
2.1 The lessee shall pay the rental without any deduction in advance, directly into the lessor's bank account, or into such other account as the lessor may advise in writing, before or on the 1st day of the month commencing on the commencement date.
2.2 In the event that the lessee pays cash into the lessor's account, the lessee will be liable for payment of the cash deposit fees.
2.3 If the lessee does not pay the rental on time the lessor will charge interest at 2% above the prime overdraft rate of the lessor's bankers on all arrear amounts.
2.4 Where legal action is taken by the lessor against the lessee for recovery of monies due, the lessee will be responsible for the payment of attorneys fees on an attorney and own client scale.
3. State of the premises (incoming inspection)
3.1 The premises on the commencement date will be in good condition, subject to what follows below.
3.2 On or before the commencement date the lessor and the lessee will inspect the premises to determine whether there are any defects and will record any such defects and the period in which such defects will be made good by the lessor in a written report. The lessee shall simultaneously with the signing of this agreement make an appointment in writing with the lessor for an incoming inspection of the premises at a mutually convenient time to take place before the commencement date. Should the lessee fail to keep the appointment the premises will be deemed to have been in good order and condition at the commencement date of this agreement.
