I specialize in translations from the Slavonic languages into English, as well as English into Bulgarian - which is my native language. I benefit from my academic background (main areas: art, history, literature, linguistics, philosophy, psychology, religion and politics) and many years of research experience. I have experience with techincal translations, legal documents, scientific articles in various science fields. I have translated 12 published books from several Slavonic languages into Bulgarian, and have edited over 60 translated works of literature and scholarship, all published. I also do interpretation: Bulgarian-English, English-Bulgarian. Long experience, most recently - the last 9 years - have worked for the U.S. Department of State, the Institute of International Education and other institutions in Washington D.C.
