II. OBJETIVOS.
1. Incorporar la comunidad educativa en el abordaje de los problemas vitales sobre el medio ambiente, tales como la destrucción de arrecifes de coral, la desaparición de especies marinas y la protección de las regiones costeras.
2. Capacitar a los y las estudiantes en el procedimiento científico del estudio de playas y costas a través de registro y análisis de datos.
3. Asistir a los y las estudiantes en la efectiva socialización de los resultados obtenidos, con fines de mejorar la percepción de la comunidad y los actores locales, frente a las playas, contribuyendo así a su uso sostenible.

II. OBJECTIVES:
1. Incorporate the educational community in the tackling of the vital problems concerning the environment, such as the destruction of the coral reefs, the vanishing of marine species, and the protection of the coastal regions.
2. Training the students in the scientifical procedure of the study of beaches and coastal areas through data registry and analysis.
3. Assist the students in the effective socialization of the results obtained, with the purpose to better the community's perception and the local actors, regarding the beaches, contributing to its sustainable usage.
