After completing my degree in tourism I worked for over 10 years in the industry, covering all major sectors like hotel, incoming, outgoing, touroperating, IATA, airline industry etc. I was employed for 5 years as an inhouse translator, developing the companies website and translating it. My speciality is Latinamerica, where I have an indepth knowledge of the continent regarding infrastructure, political systems, culture and of course tourism & travel.

My second special area is the Public Sector including Health Systems, Police, Courts and other state related services. I have been working in the UK for the past 4 years as an interpreter for both Spanish and German. My knowledge of the Public Sector includes the German, Austrian, Spanish and various Latinamerican countries systems.

I am a trade unionist myself and have been working as a freelance interpreter and translator for various European trade unions and international secretariats over the past 15 years. Interpreting assignments (whispering, consecutive) included one-to-one between high ranking union officials, meetings of union delegations, conferences, social events etc. Translation assignments included letters, documents (European Works Councils), motions for conferences etc.
