I come form a multicultural family where Spanish, Catalan and French were spoken. Thanks to the fact that I started English lessons at an early age, when I finished school apart from the A levels, I also had the highest certifications in these languages, like the Certificate Proficiency in English, and the Baccalauréat Serie L.

My passion for the pharmaceutical world combined with experience working in the legal department and the clinical research unit in Sanofi-aventis, lead me to study the Masters Degree in Clinical Trial Monitoring of the Medical Association in Barcelona.

Since then I have worked as a Clinical Research Associate and translator for Grupo Solti, and Foundation for Investigation of Breast Cancer and Amgen. I specialized in Oncology, but I have collaborated with other companies like Language Connections in translating protocols, Investigator's Brochure, QoL, and other clinical - trial related documents in Oncology, Diabetes, cystic fibrosis.

In paralel as a translator, I have worked with civil engineering translations for Uniland, but I have also done legal, marketing, press releases for Vogue, Bonduelle, Boiron, Technicis, among others.
A long collaboration with Language Connections started at the beginning of the summer 2008 and finished in October 2008, for an article about Translation Problems in Informed Consents for the Journal Good Clinical Practices.
