The Measurement Counter 735 offers a robust retrofit solution for manual coordinate measuring machines at a reasonable price. Intelligente Flächenrückführung mit "Dimension"
In der Designphase stehen die Entwickler vor der Aufgbe, ein bestehendes Modell/Werkstück für die weitere Bearbeitung in eine CAD-Fläche zu überführen. Basis hierfür sind Daten (Punkte, Scanninglinien), die durch Digitalisierung gewonnen werden.
Die Übernahme der Geometrie von 3D-Werkstücken in CAD-Systeme war bisher kaum möglich, da die bei der Digitalisierung erhaltenen Datenmengen die CAD-Systeme überfordern. Benötigt wird ein System, das Freiformgeometrien aus den gemessenen Punktewolken erzeugt.
Dies ist mit DIMENSION jetzt problemlos möglich. Die Umsetzung der 3D-Digitalisierdaten in CAD-gerechte Flächen erfordert nur minimalen Bedienaufwand. | Translation - German
Intelligent reverse engineering using "Dimension"
In the developmental stage, designers face the task of transferring an existing model into a CAD-face for further processing. The base for the CAD-face is data (points, scanning lines)gained through digitizing.
Transferring the geometry of 3D models into CAD-systems was hardly possible so far, since the amount of data accumulated through digitizing is too large for CAD-systems. Therefore, a system is necessary, which generates freeform faces of the point clouds.
Now, that is possible with DIMENSION. Converting the 3D digitizing data to CAD-compatible faces only takes a minimum of operations. |
