Blood Side
The blood side of the system controls the flow of the blood during treatment. The patient’s blood flows through a single-use, sterile tubing set that includes the blood pump. The blood tubing set is completely disposable, which eliminates the potential for cross contamination.
The blood pump is an important part of the blood movement system. The blood pump is made up of two chambers. Inside each chamber is a flexible membrane. Air pressure is used to make the membrane move back and forth. When the membrane moves, blood flows in and out of the pump.
The blood pump operates in singleneedle or dual-needle modes.
Components:
Dialyzer holder: holds the dialyzer securely in place on the machine front
Blood pump clamps: machine clamps that control the blood flow out of the blood pump

Blodsida
Systemets blodsida kontrollerar blodflödet under behandlingen. Patientens blod flödar genom en steril slanguppsättning för engångsbruk som inkluderar blodpump. Hela blodslanguppsättningen kasseras efter användning och på så sätt elimineras den potentiella risken för korskontaminering.
