I have been working as a freelance translator, editor and proofreader since passing the Diploma in Translation exams (Masters degree level) in 2010. I also have a BA Hons degree in European Business Studies with Italian and a Masters' degree in Human Rights. Before qualifying as a translator, I worked in a variety of fields, including art restoration, insurance, events management and the automotive industry.

I am currently studying for a Master's Degree in Legal Translation (Italian to English) at City University, London. Subjects covered so far include General Law and Contract Law. In July 2011 I attended a 6 day course on translating & editing academic texts.
