I have worked in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States. The focus in my work experience has been on:
- translating, copywriting and research
- wholesale and retail sales (objects of art, electronics)
- insurance (corporate insurance, Lloyd’s of London)

I make sure that my translations have the level of quality that I would like to receive myself if I were the client. For this reason wherever necessary I carry out thorough research for a translation by making extensive use of specialist internet sources and reference materials in the high-quality libraries in London before writing, checking and adapting my translation. I deliver the translation when I know that I have done the best job possible.

Educational background:
I have a B.L. in law and an M.A. in Russian and Japanese. I have solid knowledge of Mandarin Chinese, German, French and Spanish next to my native English and Dutch.

International living experience:
I have lived in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Taiwan and Spain and have spent extended periods of time in Japan, Russia and West Africa.
