Phase B: Benchmarking of multimodal logistic sites
The first step of this phase will be the acquisition of the current situation of the logistic site of XXXX. Therefore, on the one hand already existing information (data, studies) will be analysed. On the other hand an inspection on site by members of the project team including interviews with employees of XXXX will be necessary to get a more detailed view of the local conditions.
To carry out a benchmarking, a catalogue of assessment criteria has to be developed. Main aspects would be e.g.
• the usable area,
• the available infrastructure,
• the connections to the different transport networks,
• the branches and companies which are already located on the logistic site,
• the economic facts and figures (turnover, transferred goods, number of employees)
• and the form of organisation

Fase B: Benchmarking de centros de logística multimodais
O primeiro passo desta fase será o levantamento da actual situação da plataforma logística da XXXX. Assim, e por um lado, será analisada a informação pré existente (dados, estudos). Por outro, e a fim de se obter uma visão mais pormenorizada das condições locais, torna-se indispensável proceder uma inspecção às instalações, a qual será levada a cabo por membros da equipa de projecto e incluirá entrevistas a funcionários da XXXX.
Para a acção de benchmarking, será necessário elaborar uma tabela de critérios de avaliação. Entre os principais aspectos a considerar deveriam figurar, por exemplo:
• a área útil,
• a infra-estrutura disponível,
• as ligações às diferentes redes de transporte,
• os ramos e as empresas já instalados na plataforma logística,
• os dados económicos (volume de negócios, mercadorias transitadas, número de empregados)
• a forma de organização.
