My
name is Benedetta and I am a freelance translator since
2008. I translate from English/German to Italian my mother tongue. I
attended the School of Interpreters and Translators of Florence
University Degree four years (1993-1997)and I have always done
translations even when I worked as an executive secretary.

My
area of expertise are Business/Finance, Legal, Medical/Life Science
and Tourism but I have dealt also with other subjects ( e.g.
Instruction manuals, e-learning, product descriptions and marketing)
and the translation of parts of web sites. I collaborate mainly with
Translation Agencies from Europe. Recently I've worked on MTPE
pojects on product descriptions (of some European sellers’ websites
– clothing, health and beauty, home & garden, electronics) and
some automotive projects (vehicles’ handbooks).

My
last translation projects have been focused on Medical field
(pharmacology and studies on new drugs), Law (general contracts,
terms and conditions, trade agreements, etc.), and Tourism (hotel
descriptions, events, etc.). However I’ve also work on other kinds
of projects, such as e-learning courses (unconscious bias, policies
of a company, etc.), instruction manuals (on medical and electrical
devices, etc.) and parts of websites (home pages, blog entries,
etc.).
