My native language is French. I have 2 bachelor degrees in linguistics and compared literature, 10 years of total translation experience.
I have been successfully translating financial, commercial, political, legal and journalistic documents as a freelancer from English and from German to French as well as published essays and novels (written by Stefan Zweig, Katharina von Bülow).
As a former journalist, editor and lecturer, I have an excellent command of my own language and as such I have been asked to write speeches for notable French politicians and economists as well as international artists and CEOs.
I am living half a year in Europe (Paris) and half a year in Asia (Shanghai).
My command of German and English, my aptitude for humanities and wide range of interests (economy, politics, public affairs, technology, news), as well as my highly developed commercial and financial skills and experience, make me highly suited to offer accurate and "bullet proof" translations. I am used to tight schedules, business minded and punctual. I am familiar with Trados 2007 to 2011 and with Microsoft Office.
