I am a qualified and experienced Translator and Proof reader specialising in film subtitling which is my passion.

I have been a translator in various fields (medical, law, public service, government documents, certificates, HMRC and Home Office documents, police records, news/politics, EU, surveys, questionnaires, advertisements/transcreation, navy, subtitling films and documentaries) since 1997.

I have excellent command of oral and written Greek (mother tongue) and English. I have developed excellent time management and organisational skills and thus I am reliable with regard to working effectively and accurately under pressure and keeping deadlines. I have perfect attention to detail and I am hard working, dedicated and responsible.

I have also been involved with translation academically. I have created, co-ordinated and taught translation-, subtitling- and language-related subjects to people of various age groups, educational, ethnic and cultural backgrounds for prestigious universities and language schools in the UK (MA in Translation Studies at the University of Portsmouth, MA in Bilingual Translation at the University of Westminster)
