See a doctor straight away if you notice any of the following serious side effects:
• Numbness, tingling, or pain in your hands and feet. This may be due to nerve damage (called ‘peripheral neuropathy’), which usually happens after you have been taking this medicine for several months but can happen sooner than this. It can also happen some time after treatment has stopped. It may not go away, or may go away slowly
• Sudden pain in your chest or difficulty in breathing. This may be due to blood clots in the artery leading to your lungs (called ‘pulmonary embolism’), which can happen during treatment, or after treatment has stopped
• Pain or swelling in your legs, especially in your lower leg or calves. This may be due to blood clots in the veins of your leg (deep vein thrombosis). These can happen during treatment, or after treatment has stopped
Other side effects include:
• Constipation: if you have constipation please speak to your doctor who might recommend taking a stool softening laxative. Increasing the fibre in your diet and a good fluid intake may help to relieve constipation
• Dizziness: if you feel dizzy, take extra care to avoid any falls or accidents. Taking your capsule(s) at night may help to reduce any feelings of dizziness
• Drowsiness: if you feel drowsy you must not operate machinery, drive a car or perform hazardous tasks. Taking your capsule(s) at night may help to reduce any feelings of drowsiness
• Low white blood cell count: your doctor may monitor your blood cell counts during treatment. Low white blood cell counts may mean that you are more likely to develop infections.

Andere mögliche Nebenwirkungen sind:
• Verstopfung: Falls Sie unter Verstopfung leiden, sprechen Sie bitte mit Ihrem Arzt. Dieser kann Ihnen ein stuhlerweichendes Abführmittel empfehlen. Eine ballaststoffreichere Ernährung und eine gute Flüssigkeitsaufnahme können helfen, Verstopfungen zu lindern
• Schwindel: Falls Ihnen schwindlig wird, sollten Sie besonders darauf achten, Unfälle zu vermeiden. Die Einnahme Ihrer Kapsel(n) am Abend kann helfen, Schwindelanfälle zu reduzieren
• Benommenheit: Falls Sie sich benommen fühlen, dürfen Sie keine Maschinen bedienen, kein Fahrzeug führen und keine gefährlichen Tätigkeiten ausüben. Die Einnahme Ihrer Kapsel(n) am Abend kann helfen, Benommenheit zu reduzieren
• Geringe Anzahl weißer Blutkörperchen: Während Ihrer Behandlung wird Ihr Arzt gegebenenfalls Ihr Blutbild untersuchen. Eine geringe Anzahl weißer Blutkörperchen kann bedeuten, dass Sie stärker zu Infektionen neigen.
