During the second year of my bachelor’s degree I did my apprenticeship in the branch office of a Sandoz company Lek d.d. in Moscow, where I had the opportunity to see how an inside company translator works, and to collect material for my bachelor's thesis on pharmaceutical terminology in Italian, Russian and Slovenian which I discussed in 2005 under the supervision of professor Ljoudmila Tchitchiguina.

My master thesis subject is translation of a film for subtitles. This paper is a product of two years work on the Trieste Film Festival first and at the Permanent Slovenian Theatre in Trieste. In both cases I worked with subtitles but the difference between film and theatre translation is quite significant because of the live performance on the stage. I achieved more experience in this kind of translation after I started working for the Digititles s.r.l., for which I proofread and translate films, series and extras for DVDs. At the Trieste Film Festival of 2006 I was in charge of several translators, and the situation required me to pressure them in terms of time.

I am a very motivated, inquisitive person, who likes to do challenging tasks. A very hard worker, a good team worker but also have good coordination abilities. I'm also good in working against time and enthused to bring everything to a good end. With a social personality, I like helping and working with people.
