Traditional trade shows often require a convention center or huge building. They often host hundreds of vendors and exhibitors in a noisy, crowded exhibit hall. A trade show or convention is organized so that companies can showcase and demonstrate their products, services, and take advantages of recent market trends and opportunities. The traditional trade show or convention often involves a considerable marketing investment by the organization sponsoring the event. Costs can include space rental, design and construction of the displays, travel, accommodations, and promotional literature.
