I learned German, in Germany, as a religious ambassador between 2002 and 2004. This presented a wonderful opportunity to develop a strong foundation in the German language as well as an understanding of the German culture.

From 2004 10 2008 I attended the University of Utah, where I earned Bachelor's degrees in German and International Studies. In 2006, I had the opportunity to spend one semester at Christian Albrechts University in Kiel, Germany. It was wonderful to be re-immersed in all things German and continue to develop my comprehension.

I was most recently in Germany in 2009 as a tourist with my family. We spent most of our time in Berlin, Dressden, and Meissen visiting friends and enjoying the sites and most of all the cuisine!
Aside from work I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors, working with building materials, and spending time with my family.
