About myself:

I am a dedicated translator who thoroughly enjoys the translation process. You can be certain the final product will be a flawless, stylish, correct translation with the appropriate cultural nuances. Born in Italy, I have lived in the US for 37 years. I graduated cum laude from the University of Bologna, the oldest in the world, then continued on and graduated with a Master of Arts from SUNY Buffalo at the top of my class. I am 100% bilingual and in tune with both cultures. I am in costant contact with colleagues in Italy and work for both US and Italian-based companies.

I have been a full-time translator for 28 years and I have the benefit of experience. Over time I have translated hundreds of documents and refined my skills in the process. I feel I have much to offer because of my experience and education, as well as my age. It is true, you learn with time...

One of the most important steps in the translation process is research beyond the words themselves. It is crucial to be familiar with the topic prior to starting the translation. I find that a challenge and I make it a practice to investigate any and all obscure terms, their origin, their development and the final role they play in the translation.

Good translation requires time, therefore I ask that, to maintain my high quality standards, I have sufficient time to complete the job. Pricing is competitive and always negotiable to accomodate clients' needs.
