| Gian Maria Battistini endorses ProZ.com's Professional Guidelines (v1.1). |
My name is Gian Maria Battistini and I am a videogames freelance translator.
I started working in the videogames localization industry in 1996.
I will never forget my first task: the linguistic testing of LucasArts' The Dig
I've been working as a Localization Project Manager until the end of 2011, obtaining a priceless experience
Now I offer my services as a freelance translator.
I started my career in 1996, when I was hired by an agency called The Studios
I have been the translator, dubbing director and tester of AAA games such as Theme Hospital
(Electronic Arts), Delta Force
(EA Sports) and Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb
In 2004, I moved to Orange Studio
agency, where I localized many Ubisoft's titles: Brothers in Arms
, Splinter Cell
, Raving Rabbids
, Heroes of Might & Magic
, and many many others.
In December 2011, I become a freelance translator.
