I am considering putting some of my skills into uses after leaving the paid workforce in 2005. I was trained as an Electrical Engineer, and worked in that field for many years. I have a EE M.S. degree from University of Virgina. I have developed very good English skills along the years, and learned a great deal of the American and Western cultures. I would translate with quality even though I don't have any formal training in this field. I believed in the daily learning experiences, and my craving for perfection and details. And at last but not the least: why do I choose to try translation? The answer is that I think I would be good at it, that I like it, and that I would contribute to today's world, one little work at a time. |
