I am native German and relocated from Germany to Ireland in 1993 where I am living and working since then. I have worked as a full- and part-time freelance translator delivering English to German and German to English translations since 1995. I joined proz.com in 2001 and am a proz.com Certified PRO since 2009.

In addition, I was able to gain extensive professional experience in the areas of SME management, marketing (TV, Film & Video production), real estate sales and consultancy, as manager of high-profile translation projects and as lecturer in law.

I specialize in legal translations (160,000+ words translated in 2009), translations for business and finance, incl. marketing, (110,000+ words in 2009) and real estate related translations.
