As co-owner of Dutch translation agencies ChipShape (1987-1996) and The Sweatshop (1996-1999), I worked with many major localization organizations for virtually all leading software and hardware vendors. Products range from PC consumer products & specialized products (software, help, HTML, SGML and documentation), through hardware documentation, ERP products, website content, documentation with telecommunication products, to marketing material and press releases. Since I started working as a solo freelance translator/editor in May 1999, I still cooperate with most of my former clients. Furthermore, I have extended my client base from then on.
My specialties: Localization of ICT and all related areas, marketing, business/finance, general. LQA, LQI, reviewing in these areas. Editing novels.
