I worked for 35 years in international commerce, using French and German as working languages. I am therefore familiar with international business, distribution and consuming industries, not to mention the contracts that go with such work.
I have also worked alongside major management consultants, and am therefore familiar with their reporting styles and documents.

Since becoming a translator my practical business experience has increasingly guided me towards financial/banking and legal work.

Banking documents translated include internal reports and standing instructions as well as reports and accounts. Investment bulletins have also formed part of this work.

Work for corporate clients includes their reports and accounts as well as publicity material.

Legal experience has been both with contracts (e.g. distribution, representation,employment and leases as well as AGBs. Civil litigation and criminal prosecutions have also featured in my work as have court judgements including one from the Bundesgerichtshof.
